The restoration project involved the convent attached to the Romanesque-Gothic church of S. Salvador in Venice. The structure, which underwent an imposing intervention in the 16th century, following which it appears in its current configuration, was used as military barracks in the 19th century and has been used by the state telephone company since the beginning of the 20th century. The last work on the building was carried out in the second half of the 1980s at the behest of TIM, which still uses the building today.

The project involved the securing of the roof, the restoration of the frescoed surfaces that had deteriorated, the restoration of the wooden frames and stone elements, and the restoration of the façades. From a structural point of view, the suitability of the building to the static stresses to which it is subjected was verified.
