An initial intervention for the NH Palermo hotel involved the complete restyling of 115 rooms distributed over 5 floors, and the partial renovation of 49 rooms. Finally, solutions were studied to renovate the common areas on the ground floor up to the swimming pool area, through interventions that interfaced with the existing elements, but with the aim of creating a fresh space, creating a continuity of the project with the restyling of the rooms. Pink and yellow tones characterize the lobby, bar and restaurant area, which dialogue well with the existing wood and marble colors.
For the rooms, given their small size, customized solutions were adopted, aimed at achieving the best result with the available space. The design of the NH standard line was therefore adapted to these particular needs. Different levels of use and different spaces, while maintaining a sophisticated and elegant appearance.
The second intervention focused on the renovation of the remaining rooms, in line with what had been done before. In addition, in the common areas, a total renovation of the spaces was carried out, with punctual but fundamental changes to complete the restyling of the hotel.

In the indoor garden next to the historic Palazzo Forcella de Silk, a glass arbor was designed to allow the restaurant’s outdoor spaces to be used all year round.
In the pool area, a new outdoor bar will connect with the indoor bar – which has also been completely renovated – and allow the garden to be enjoyed throughout the day.
